This little plant had grown through the edge of a cliff face. The breeze had constantly caused the plant to sway to & fro. It had left it's mark as you can see, even though it was the tiniest thing.

That is the most bizarre thing I've ever seen. And the most determine to survive plant. What a thirst for life!
john chandler: Hi.
When i saw this , i thought basically the same thing. as you say .. it really is quite bizarre how something so small could survive what seems to be such a constant battering.
That is really amazing John.
john chandler: Hello Bill

Barely alive but still kicking ...just a little.
Wow, I can't believe that this tiny plant did that to the rock : Well seen !
john chandler: Hello. Yes, it is amazing how life clings on with the last thread.
What a great shot and good to hear the story behind it too. We all leave a mark of some kind on this earth and this little plant was doing his best to leave his!
john chandler: Thank you for your comments. Yes we do ALL leave a mark , no matter how great or small. Your life is just one small lego brick, with many many more to follow on.
Remarkable!
john chandler: Yes it is .. survival is key !
that plant has put itself in one of the hardest spots imaginable! look at that groove its made! It really must be hanging on by a thread!
john chandler: Yep, one would think it would be destroyed in a very short space of time...but oh no...not this one !
Inspiring subject.
john chandler: Hello Bruce. Yes it is. We can all achieve so much, we just have to have the best WILL to do so. Flying or ship ? :o) John
Long live life! A wonderful image of resilience. (I also like the beautiful cliff face)
john chandler: Hi Jamoula. It is very inspiring to me. If this little plant can make such a mark then us humans should be able to do wonders, not fight all the time with war and hate and racism.
